Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes how I (Joenil Alga) handle information when you visit joenil.com or get in touch with me. My individual products (Chimmi, Kidzkwela, Emhash, RouteTah, GoTrycatch) have their own privacy policies on their own sites.

2. Information I collect

When you email me: I receive your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you send. I use this only to respond and evaluate whether we're a good fit to work together.

When you browse this site: Google Analytics collects aggregated, anonymous browsing data (pages viewed, device type, approximate region). This helps me understand what content is useful and improve the site. Google may use cookies to track this.

What I do NOT collect: I do not run retargeting pixels, share data with advertisers, or maintain any account/login system on this site.

3. How I use your information

I use email conversations only to respond to you and discuss potential work. I do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

Aggregated analytics data helps me improve the website and understand what visitors find useful. It is never used to identify you individually.

4. Third-party services

This site uses a small set of third-party services:

• Google Analytics — anonymous website analytics (see Google's privacy policy).
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site. Google may log IP addresses when serving these fonts.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website via Cloudflare Pages and provides CDN/security. Cloudflare may collect basic server logs and analytics (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).
• Gmail — I receive emails at a Gmail address. Google handles your email data per its privacy policy.

5. Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure aggregated website usage. No advertising or retargeting cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or install a Google Analytics opt-out extension.

6. How I protect your information

Emails are stored in Gmail (Google's infrastructure). When we're actively working together, I keep credentials, source code, and business information in encrypted stores and delete them on project close or on request. For confidential client engagements, I sign NDAs.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data I hold about you
• Ask me to correct or delete your personal data
• Withdraw consent to future communications
• Opt out of analytics tracking via browser controls

8. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children. My children-oriented product Kidzkwela is COPPA-compliant and has its own separate privacy policy available on its product site.

9. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes that affect how your data is handled will be communicated via this page.
